The definitive book about the ill-fated journey of the Netherby is being prepared for publication by Helen Vivian later this year by the University of Melbourne. For this book, I have prepared a chapter about the Townsend family in the years before and the years after boarding the Netherby in London. I hope will be fully adopted including newly found pictures of the family members.
